Tool allows macOS 27 users to disable Apple Intelligence features

By PulseAugur Editorial · [2 sources] ·

A new command-line tool called RemoveMacAI has been developed to allow users to disable Apple Intelligence features on macOS 27. This tool, created by developer Om Lahore, addresses the lack of a direct toggle in macOS 27 for disabling these AI capabilities, which can consume significant storage space. RemoveMacAI deactivates features like Siri, Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground, while also deleting the associated AI models to free up disk space, though dictation functionality remains unaffected.
