Meta's Project Phoenix mixed reality headset images leaked

By PulseAugur Editorial · [2 sources] ·

Images of Meta's upcoming mixed reality headset, codenamed Project Phoenix, have been leaked through a HorizonOS app. The device appears to be a lightweight, glasses-like form factor, differing from Meta's previous Quest hardware and resembling competitors like Xreal's Aura. It is rumored to utilize controller-free interaction and may be tethered to a separate processing unit, with a potential reveal at Meta's Connect event on September 23rd, though a market release is not expected until 2027.
