Netflix developing 'Outer Banks' prequel series 'Kildare'

By PulseAugur Editorial · [1 sources] ·

Netflix is developing "Kildare," a prequel series to "Outer Banks," focusing on the origins of the social divide between the Kook and Pogue factions on the island. The series will be set 20 years before the events of "Outer Banks" and will be helmed by the original show's creators, Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke. While the exact release date is unknown, the script is currently in development, aiming to explore the island's class divisions and potentially feature younger versions of existing characters or entirely new ones.
