Northrop Grumman unveils Raid Hunter anti-drone chain gun

By PulseAugur Editorial · [2 sources] ·

Northrop Grumman has unveiled its new Raid Hunter system, a chain gun designed to counter drone swarms and cruise missiles. This weapon system utilizes precision-guided 50mm ammunition and is intended to fill a critical gap in short-range air defense, particularly against the high-volume, low-flying threats observed in conflicts like those in Ukraine and the Middle East. The modular Raid Hunter can be rapidly deployed on various vehicles, including the C-130, and can be networked with other systems for coordinated engagements. AI
