Hysteresis, not binary states, may form universe's fabric, blog suggests

By PulseAugur Editorial · [1 sources] ·

A blog post explores a novel concept of the universe, positing that hysteresis, rather than binary states, forms the fundamental fabric of spacetime. This idea reframes physical phenomena by suggesting that local multidimensionality arises from the memory and switching thresholds of elementary 'hysteron' cells, drawing parallels to Preisach's model of hysteresis. The author uses vivid metaphors, comparing these hysterons to musical instrument keys, to illustrate how the universe's 'breathing' or energy flow influences its states, creating a complex cosmic symphony. AI

IMPACT Explores a novel theoretical framework for understanding the universe, potentially influencing future scientific inquiry.
