By PulseAugur Editorial · [3 sources] ·

Wrinkles is a new AI-powered application designed to act as a location-aware audio tour guide. Available on both iOS and Android, the app surfaces historical facts and local lore about the places users are near, aiming to enrich their exploration without requiring them to constantly look at their phones. The founders, David Stemler and Ryan Hansan, were inspired by personal travel experiences to create a more immersive way to learn about surroundings. Wrinkles has established a global database of 1.3 million points of interest and plans to generate revenue through content creators and businesses offering sponsored experiences or direct booking links.
