China launches NTN satellite communication initiative

By PulseAugur Editorial · [1 sources] ·

China has launched the NTN Satellite Communication Pioneer Action, a collaborative initiative involving multiple key players in the industry. Guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Information and Communication Administration, the program aims to establish an integrated platform for simulating, testing, and pre-validating integrated space-terrestrial communication networks. This effort will focus on overcoming key NTN technologies and conducting end-to-end trials, covering digital simulation, performance testing, and reliability assessment to create a full lifecycle from simulation to in-orbit verification.
