By PulseAugur Editorial · [1 sources] ·

A new tool called VR-Outpaint 1.0 IC-LoRA has been released, capable of transforming standard flat videos into immersive 360-degree equirectangular videos. The system works by applying an inverse gnomonic projection to the input video before feeding it into a model, allowing the AI to better understand the geometry of the scene and complete the missing parts of the sphere. This release includes model weights, a ComfyUI workflow, and companion nodes for projection calculations, trained on a dataset of over 13,000 clips from YouTube. AI
