AI-powered Theodore Roosevelt avatar to debut at presidential library

By PulseAugur Editorial · [1 sources] ·

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library is set to open with an AI-powered avatar of the former president, named "Talk with TR." This interactive experience, developed with Microsoft's AI for Good Lab, allows visitors to converse with a digital recreation of Roosevelt, complete with his characteristic voice and mannerisms. The library itself, a $450 million institution, will also feature a searchable digital archive of Roosevelt's documents, enhanced by Microsoft AI technology. The avatar is trained on a vast collection of historical materials and includes safeguards to ensure accuracy, though abstract concepts remain a challenge for the AI. AI
