A Multi-Agent AI System for Automated High School Transcript Processing: Collaborative Document Analysis at Scale
Researchers have developed a novel multi-agent AI system designed to automate the processing of high school transcripts, a task that currently overwhelms college admissions offices. The system employs specialized agents for pattern recognition, semantic analysis, and visual document understanding, all coordinated by an orchestration agent. A key feature is agent-based quality control using GPA extraction as a coordination signal, ensuring accuracy and preventing information loss. In testing, the system processed 40 real-world transcripts with 96.7% accuracy and a processing time of 45 seconds per transcript, demonstrating its potential for scalable and efficient document analysis.
