Nobody keeps the receipts for AI pricing, so I built the changelog
A developer has created `ai-price-index`, an open-source project to track and record Large Language Model (LLM) API pricing changes over time. The project addresses the difficulty in determining historical AI model costs due to providers frequently updating their pricing pages without clear changelogs. `ai-price-index` aims to provide a reliable, point-in-time record of these prices, linking each entry to its official source and allowing users to accurately price historical usage.
