Researchers have introduced Stochastic deNOising REgularization (SNORE), a novel plug-and-play framework for image restoration. SNORE applies a denoiser only to images with appropriate noise levels, contrasting with previous methods that used denoisers on progressively less noisy images. This approach is grounded in explicit stochastic regularization and utilizes a stochastic gradient descent algorithm for solving ill-posed inverse problems.
