Venture capital firm Antler, founded by Magnus Grimeland, is expanding its global reach, opening its first office in Silicon Valley nearly a decade after its inception. Despite Silicon Valley's prominence, Grimeland believes innovation can occur anywhere, a philosophy reflected in Antler's presence across 27 cities on six continents. The firm, which invests in founders before they even start companies, has made over 1,500 investments and manages more than $1 billion in assets, with two portfolio companies achieving unicorn status last year.
