Reducing container cold start times using SOCI index on DLAMI and DLC
AWS has introduced Seekable OCI (SOCI) support for its Deep Learning AMIs and Containers to significantly reduce container cold start times. This technology allows containers to load only the necessary files, a process known as lazy loading, which drastically cuts down on network bandwidth usage and speeds up startup.
