H&M is undergoing a significant global organizational restructuring, moving away from its previous nine regional business divisions. The company is reorganizing into 26 sales markets, which will then be managed under four newly established "continent-level" business units based on market performance. This change will see the Greater China region become one of the 26 sales markets, falling under the new Continent Asia Pacific unit, with the current Greater China president, Saed El-Achkar, taking on the role of Managing Director for this new unit.
