Patients With Personality: Realistic Patient Simulation through Controlled Diversity and Selective Disclosure
Researchers have developed a new framework called PatientsWithPersonality (PWP) to generate more realistic and controllable virtual patient simulations for testing clinical AI applications. This framework utilizes the HEXACO model of personality to parameterize patient traits, allowing for fine-grained control over conversational style, cooperativeness, and information disclosure.
