Artificial intelligence is showing promise in early cancer detection, according to findings from several studies. The PRAIM trial in Germany demonstrated that AI could identify 17.6% more breast cancers without increasing false positives. Additionally, AI has the potential to flag breast cancers up to six years earlier, as suggested by a Swedish study, and detect pancreatic cancer up to three years in advance, as shown in Mayo Clinic's REDMOD study.
