Centralized procurement of medicine at 100 yuan per box, but pharmacies sell it for 3960 yuan, CCTV investigates the "high-priced medicine" mystery
A recent investigation by CCTV revealed that certain pharmacies in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, are selling a government-procured drug, Avatrombopag Maleate (also known as "Qing An Xin"), for as high as 3960 yuan per box. This price is nearly 40 times higher than the approximately 100 yuan seen in other regions and online platforms for the same medication. The drug was part of the eleventh batch of national centralized drug procurement, which aimed to significantly reduce prices for essential medicines. AI
