MARVEL: Universal Murray's Law-informed Vessel Tree Segmentation and Topology Estimation
Researchers have developed MARVEL, a new framework that integrates biophysical principles, specifically Murray's Law, into vascular tree segmentation. This approach aims to overcome the limitations of current deep learning methods that often produce physiologically implausible results.
