KISS: Keeping it Simple and Slotted when Learning to Communicate over Wireless
Researchers have developed a novel approach using machine learning agents to learn efficient and fair random channel access strategies in distributed wireless systems. By employing an off-policy Double Deep Q-Network with Bayesian inference, agents autonomously learn to manage access over a slotted channel without pre-training or coordination.
