LAUKIN: A Multi-jurisdictional Common Law Contract Dataset
Researchers have introduced LAUKIN, a new dataset designed to aid in the cross-jurisdictional review of common law contracts. The dataset contains clause pairs from Australia, the UK, and India, labeled for legal equivalence. LAUKIN aims to address the limitations of existing legal NLP datasets, which are often confined to a single jurisdiction.
