COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary has entered into a contract with Jiangnan Shipyard for the construction of four 175,000 cubic meter LNG vessels. The total investment for these vessels is 6.445 billion yuan, with delivery scheduled between 2029 and 2030. Following delivery, the ships will be chartered to Shell Tankers for a seven-year period, generating approximately 5.4 billion yuan in rental income. AI
