Researchers have developed a new framework called ForensicConcept to improve the detection of AI-generated images. This method extracts explicit forensic concepts from existing detectors, making them transferable to different models. By localizing critical image patches and clustering them, ForensicConcept provides auditable evidence for its decisions, addressing the black-box nature of current AI image detectors.
