Phison has unveiled its new PCIe 6.0 X3 SSD controller, capable of delivering up to 28 GB/s of bandwidth and 6.8 million IOPS, with support for up to 2 petabytes per drive. This controller is set to begin sampling to customers in December, with mass production expected in mid-2027. Additionally, Phison showcased its E37T controller for PCIe 5.0 systems, which offers performance comparable to existing flagship controllers but with significantly reduced power consumption, consuming only 4.5W.
