Edge-Aware and Content-Adaptive Infrared Gas Leak Detection for Industrial Safety Monitoring
Researchers have developed a new AI model called ECAF-Det designed to improve the detection of faint gas leaks using infrared imagery. This model enhances feature fusion by incorporating edge awareness and content adaptivity to better identify gas plumes, which are often difficult to discern in cluttered thermal scenes.
