Researchers have developed a Deformable Wiener Filter (DWF) to improve video coding efficiency. This new filter combines local and non-local characteristics, learning filter coefficients through supervised training based on Wiener Filter theory. The DWF classifies samples into groups, assigning shared filter coefficients and adaptively fusing local and non-local reference samples.
