Akai refreshes the MPC One and Key 37 workstations
Akai has released updated versions of its MPC One and Key 37 music production workstations, now designated as the MPC One G2 and Key 37 G2. These refreshed models boast significant hardware improvements, including an 8-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, which Akai claims will lead to faster load times and greater project capacity. Both devices run the new MPC 3.9 operating system, offering enhanced arrangement workflows and a new synth engine, and can support up to 32 simultaneous virtual instruments and 16 stereo tracks in standalone mode.
