Clinically Aware Synthetic Image Generation for Concept Coverage in Chest X-ray Models
Researchers have developed CARPA, a novel framework for generating synthetic chest X-ray images that are clinically and anatomically grounded. This method addresses the limitations of existing synthetic data by ensuring that generated images adhere to clinical concepts and anatomical structures, thereby improving the reliability of deep learning models used for diagnosis.
