Can AI Review Improve Paper Drafting? An Empirical Study on 20 Computer Architecture Submissions
Researchers have developed an AI tool called AI-Paper-Review to assess how AI-generated reviews can enhance the drafting of academic papers. The study analyzed 20 computer architecture submissions, comparing AI-generated feedback against human reviews. Findings indicate that AI reviews can identify many issues highlighted by human reviewers and also surface novel concerns, though the tool is not yet recommended for actual peer review due to ethical considerations.
