Segment-level Tree Search for Long Meeting Document Summarization
Researchers have introduced Segment-level Tree Search (S3), a novel framework designed to improve the summarization of lengthy meeting documents. This training-free approach partitions documents into segments, generates multiple summary candidates for each, and then uses a self-reward-guided Monte Carlo Tree Search to compose the best possible final summary.
